Adobe Firefly AI Is Out of Beta in Photoshop and Illustrator

Sep 13, 2023 - gizmodo.com
Adobe has launched its AI applications, Firefly, across its creative suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator. The tools, which are now out of beta, include an AI art generator, a generative fill tool, AI-based color correction, AI storyboarding and animated text, a Generative Recolor function, and a text-to-image generative AI. Firefly is being integrated into Adobe Express and the Creative Cloud app, and each customer is being granted a number of “Generative Credits” as part of their plans to generate content based on text-based prompts.

Adobe's text-to-image AI uses images from its own Adobe Stock service, and contributors will receive an annual bonus based on the number of approved images and assets. The company has also introduced a “Nutrition Label” that automatically applies to AI content’s metadata when it’s created through Adobe’s software suite. The Content Authenticity Initiative label includes the assets name, creation data, and tools used to make it. Adobe also has a verification website where users can upload files to look into their AI metadata.
