Adobe's Firefly generative AI models are now generally available, get pricing plans | TechCrunch

Sep 13, 2023 - techcrunch.com
Adobe has announced that its Firefly generative AI models are now commercially available in its Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and Adobe Experience Cloud, 176 days after launching into beta. Firefly features such as generative fill and generative expand in Photoshop are now accessible without needing to install the beta version. Adobe also plans to charge for Firefly using 'generative credits', which are consumed each time a user interacts with the models.

Adobe users on existing paid plans will receive a certain number of these generative credits. Once these credits are exhausted, Firefly will run slower, except for Adobe Firefly and Adobe Express Premium subscribers who will have access to 2 generations per day until their count resets at the end of the month. Adobe will offer additional subscription packs for these users, although specific pricing has not been released. Until November 1, Adobe users subscribed to Creative Cloud, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, and Adobe Stock will not be subject to the credit limits.
