Advantest Rolls Out Wave Scale RF20ex: High-Frequency, High-Bandwidth RF IC Test Card for V93000 EXA Scale Platform

Semiconductor test equipment supplier Advantest Corporation has unveiled the Wave Scale RF20ex instrument for the V93000 EXA Scale platform. The new instrument allows customers to test any type of radio frequency (RF) device using a single instrument. The RF20ex doubles the number of RF ports per instrument and offers a frequency range of 100MHz to 20GHz and a 2GHz bandwidth capability. It is designed to address 5G, Wi-Fi 7, ultra-wideband (UWB), and other current or future RF standards.

The Wave Scale RF20ex provides a unified, single-card solution for all standard RF applications. It is well equipped to handle UWB applications, enabling ATE for devices that require more demanding testing in terms of modulation bandwidth and frequency coverage. The card is already in use at several customer sites and will be broadly available in December 2024.
