AMD Announces The Ryzen AI 300 Series For Mobile: Zen 5 With RDNA 3.5, and XDNA2 NPU With 50 TOPS

AMD has unveiled its latest AI PC-focused chip lineup, the Ryzen AI 300 series, at Computex 2024. The new series, based on AMD's Zen 5 CPU microarchitecture and codenamed Strix Point, is designed for the mobile market and aims to offer improved mobile SoC performance. The Ryzen AI 300 series incorporates AMD's new Zen 5 CPU architecture, RDNA 3.5-based integrated graphics, and the third generation XDNA2-based NPU, which is rated to deliver 50 TOPS of performance for AI-based workloads. The first two Ryzen AI 300 SKUs designed for notebooks, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and the Ryzen AI 9 365, have also been announced.
