Bing Chat is now Copilot | TechCrunch

Nov 15, 2023 - techcrunch.com
Microsoft has renamed its AI-powered chatbot, Bing Chat, to Copilot and the corporate version, Bing Chat Enterprise, to Copilot Pro. The name changes are part of Microsoft's vision to create a unified Copilot experience for both consumer and commercial customers. Starting December 1, users who sign into Bing with a corporate account will receive "commercial data protection" while using Copilot, meaning their data won't be used to train AI models and Microsoft won't have access to it.

Copilot Pro is now accessible in Windows and will be included in various Microsoft enterprise subscription plans at no additional cost. It will also be available à la carte for $5 per month for all other customers. Over time, Microsoft plans to expand the eligibility of Copilot with commercial data protection to more users at no additional cost.
