Google is introducing a new AI-enabled tier of Google One, rebranding its Bard AI chatbot as Gemini. The new tier, Google One AI Premium, costs $20 per month and includes access to Gemini Advanced, a paid tier of Gemini based on the new Ultra 1.0 language model. The service also includes AI-enabled productivity applications, 2TB of storage, Google Photos editing features, Google Meet premium video calling features, Google Calendar enhanced appointment scheduling, VPN by Google One, and more.

Gemini for Workspace is a rebrand of the Duet AI service, which was primarily enterprise-focused. Google One AI Premium is consumer-facing and includes all the perks of the standard Google One Premium 2TB plan. Google is currently offering a free two-month trial of Google One AI Premium. The deal is available in English across 150 countries and territories, with other languages soon to be available.
