GoStudent, a tutoring and educator marketplace, has raised $95 million in a strategic fundraise to pursue an AI-driven future for its platform. The funds were raised with participation from Deutsche Bank, Left Lane Capital, DN Capital, Tencent, Prosus, DST, Coatue, and Softbank Vision Fund 2. The company plans to use AI to create an AI-driven lesson planner that will save tutors an average of 15 minutes per lesson. The company also plans to introduce AI-driven content learning to the platform to allow students to study between lessons.

In addition to AI, GoStudent is also focusing on virtual reality technologies. The company recently launched a virtual reality language platform, GoVR, which offers tutor-led VR group language learning experiences in immersive environments. This allows students to practice their language skills in virtual "real-life settings". The company supports more than 11 million families across more than 15 countries and books over 1 million tutoring lessons globally each month.
