Humane AI Pin orders will start shipping in March

Humane, a company founded by former Apple employees, has announced that its AI Pin, a wearable device designed to replace smartphones, will start shipping in March 2024. The device, which costs $699, does not have a screen and instead uses voice cues and a projector to display information on the user's hand. The AI Pin runs on a quad-core Snapdragon processor with a dedicated Qualcomm AI Engine and has partnerships with OpenAI, Microsoft, and Tidal.

The device is available in three colors, with two costing an extra $100. Users will also need to pay a $24 monthly fee for cellular data. The company has stated that priority orders will be shipped first, with remaining orders sent out in the order they were received. The Humane AI Pin is currently available for pre-order on Humane's website.
