LG’s new ultra-lightweight Gram laptops include some OLED screens and AI Boost

Ahead of CES 2024, LG is set to launch new laptops in its LG Gram and LG Gram Pro series. The 2024 lineup includes the Gram Pro 16 and 17, and the LG Gram Pro 2-in-1, which doubles as a laptop and tablet. These models feature OLED displays, NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSDs, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics cards, FHD webcams with facial recognition, and a choice of Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors. The Pro models also include Intel’s AI Boost NPU hardware for accelerated AI tasks.

The standard LG Gram series will be available in four screen sizes and include Intel Core Ultra processors. All models have built-in Full-HD cameras and weigh between 2.42 to 2.98 pounds. The two largest models have a 2,560 × 1,600 display. All new LG Gram models will include the LG Gram Link app for file sharing, photo transfers, and screen mirroring between computers and Android or iOS devices. The app also uses AI for photo categorization and keyword-based image searches.
