Microsoft Bing Chief Parakhin Exiting Role After Suleyman Named AI Leader
Mikhail Parakhin, the head of Microsoft's Bing search engine and advertising businesses, is set to leave his current roles and seek a new position within the company. This move comes a week after Microsoft appointed Mustafa Suleyman to oversee consumer artificial intelligence work and asked Parakhin to report to him. Parakhin, who also served as the CEO for advertising and web services, will now report to Chief Technology Officer Kevin Scott while he looks for his next role.

Some of the responsibilities previously held by Parakhin, including parts of the Windows software business, will be transferred to Pavan Davuluri. Davuluri, who previously oversaw hardware and the rest of Windows, will now manage all of Windows and Surface hardware. He will report to Executive Vice President Rajesh Jha, who announced these changes in a staff email.
