Microsoft’s Copilot is getting OpenAI’s latest models and a new code interpreter

Dec 06, 2023 - theverge.com
Microsoft is set to introduce several new features to its Copilot service, including support for OpenAI's latest GPT-4 Turbo model and an updated DALL-E 3 model. The GPT-4 Turbo model will enhance Copilot's ability to understand queries and provide better responses due to a larger context window. The updated DALL-E 3 model will be used in Bing Image Creator and Copilot to create higher quality and more accurate images. Microsoft is currently testing these models with select users and plans to integrate them widely into Copilot in the coming weeks.

In addition to these, Microsoft is also launching a new code interpreter feature for Copilot, which will allow users to get more accurate calculations, data analysis, or code from the AI chatbot. Microsoft Edge will also gain the ability to compose text within websites’ text input to rewrite sentences inline and summarize YouTube videos. On the Bing side, a "Deep Search" feature is being added to deliver optimized search results for complex topics by leveraging the power of GPT-4.
