French AI startup Mistral is launching new AI model customization options, including paid plans, to allow developers and businesses to adapt its generative models for specific use cases. The company has released a software development kit (SDK), Mistral-Finetune, for fine-tuning its models on various platforms, and has also launched fine-tuning services through its API, currently compatible with two of its models. Additionally, Mistral is introducing custom training services for select customers to fine-tune any Mistral model using their data.

The company, which is reportedly seeking to raise around $600 million at a $6 billion valuation, is aiming to increase revenue amid growing competition in the generative AI space.
