OpenAI Selects Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to Extend Microsoft Azure AI Platform

Oracle, Microsoft, and OpenAI are collaborating to expand the Microsoft Azure AI platform to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to provide additional capacity for OpenAI. OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, will utilize OCI to extend Azure’s platform and continue to scale. Oracle's Gen2 AI infrastructure is expected to meet the growing demand for large language model development.

OCI's AI infrastructure is advancing AI innovation, with companies like Adept, Modal, MosaicML, NVIDIA, Reka, Suno, Together AI, Twelve Labs, and xAI using OCI Supercluster for training and inference of next-gen AI models. OCI's purpose-built AI capabilities enable faster and more reliable model building and training in Oracle’s distributed cloud.
