Salesforce Einstein Studio lets you bring your own model, starting with Amazon SageMaker | TechCrunch

Aug 04, 2023 - techcrunch.com
Salesforce has launched Einstein Studio, a management console that allows customers to import their own data models into Data Cloud, the company's in-house data lake. The tool is aimed at sophisticated data teams that have built models elsewhere, such as Amazon SageMaker, and want to use them in other contexts. Einstein Studio supports zero ETL, meaning data can be imported without the need for extraction, transformation, and loading. Initially, it will support Amazon SageMaker, with plans to support Google Vertex AI, Databricks, Snowflake, and others in the future.

Einstein Studio allows customers to design custom predictive models and can work with LLMs to generate content such as automated emails. Once a model is imported, it can be integrated into workflows within Salesforce to generate insights or trigger actions. The tool, which can connect to Amazon SageMaker and allows users to bring their own models, is available starting today.
