Salesforce introduces Einstein Copilot Studio to help customers customize their AI | TechCrunch

Sep 12, 2023 - techcrunch.com
Salesforce has unveiled Einstein Copilot Studio at the Dreamforce customer conference, a tool that allows customers to customize the Salesforce base Einstein GPT and Einstein Copilot offerings. The studio comprises three elements: prompt builder, skills builder, and model builder. The prompt builder allows customization of prompt templates, the skills builder enables companies to add actions to prompts, and the model builder lets users bring their own model or use supported third-party offerings. Salesforce is also developing an 'Einstein Trust Layer' to manage security, governance, and data privacy.

The new tool is expected to fill a gap for companies needing more than the base tooling, according to Brent Leary, founder and principal analyst at CRM Essentials. The Einstein Copilot Studio will be available in pilot sometime this fall, while the Einstein Trust Layer will be generally available across the Einstein platform next month. However, Salesforce has not specified the exact dates.
