ServiceNow dives deeper into task mining with latest acquisition | TechCrunch

Dec 18, 2023 - techcrunch.com
ServiceNow has announced the acquisition of Czech Republic-based task mining company UltimateSuite. The purchase will provide ServiceNow with a new method of understanding how work flows through a business, although the acquisition price was not disclosed. UltimateSuite, a three-year-old startup, had previously raised €768,000 (approximately $839,000). The acquisition will enhance ServiceNow's ability to identify inefficiencies at the user task level, a capability it lacked prior to the acquisition.

This is ServiceNow's third acquisition in recent years related to AI and automation, following the purchase of AI-powered workflow tool G2K in May this year and Canadian startup Element AI in 2020. The plan is to integrate UltimateSuite's functionality into ServiceNow's process mining capabilities, with the aim of improving business process efficiency. The acquired technology will not be sold as a separate product, but will be incorporated into ServiceNow's existing platform.
