Skej's AI meeting scheduling assistant works like adding an EA to your email | TechCrunch

May 28, 2024 - techcrunch.com
The New York-based startup, Skej, has developed an AI assistant that can be included in email conversations to find the best meeting times for everyone involved. Unlike other scheduling solutions, Skej scans links to find mutual availability and schedules meetings without requiring users to browse through someone's availability. The service works with any email platform and integrates with programs like Zoom and Google Calendar, with support for Outlook Calendar coming soon.

Skej's AI assistant uses different LLM models to interpret the language in the email and feed it into Skej’s proprietary system, which then finds a match and suggests meeting times. The startup, which is currently in public beta and being used by over 1,000 users, is free for now but plans to add a paid tier in the future. The founding team includes Paul Canetti, Justin Canetti, and Anindya Mondal, and the startup has received investment from Betaworks, Mozilla Ventures, Stem AI, Spice Capital, Deftly.vc, and Differential Ventures.
