The American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) has named The Verge as a finalist in two categories for this year’s National Magazine Awards. The series "The Year Twitter Died" is a finalist in the Design category, while "AI Is a Lot of Work," an investigation into the human labor behind artificial intelligence, is a finalist in the feature writing category, in collaboration with New York Magazine.
