Virtualness Raises Additional Funding

Virtualness, a San Francisco-based mobile-first platform that utilizes generative AI and blockchain, has secured an undisclosed amount in a funding round. The round, which brought the total funding to eight figures, was led by Shorooq Partners and Ankurit Capital. The company had previously raised $8M in seed funding in late 2022 from various investors. The platform allows users to create, mint, gift, share, and sell digital goods, and is used by authenticated creators, brands, and sports and media organizations to design, mint, and showcase branded digital goods.

In addition to the funding news, Virtualness also announced the launch of Gratitude OnChain, a program that invites the community to express their gratitude on blockchain in a permanent, immutable way.
