Heydi Overview

Heydi is a productivity tool designed to streamline interaction with web AI chats like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and Perplexity. It allows users to prompt with their voice, clipboard, or both. The chat can process the request in the background and notify the user once it's ready. All functionalities are configurable with shortcuts. The main goal of Heydi is to reduce context switching, allowing all interactions to be initiated with a keyboard shortcut. It also offers speech transcription using offline WhisperCPP or the OpenAI API and the ability to generate audio from responses using system voices or the OpenAI API.
